Spring Fashion | Vintage Inspired

I thought it was about time I got round to doing a fashion post and what better time than when Spring is just around the corner? Well, nearly…

I wanted to show you some of my essentials for when the weather gets hotter, the bare legs come out and the grey clouds start to fade away (talking with sheer optimism here), so I’ve put together four pieces which range from casual then to a going out look. I am also obsessing over the vintage look at the moment, so I thought I’d make each outfit have a vintage-esque look in some sort of way. Enjoy!

& Other Stories – White Jumper (similar here and here) Topshop – MOM Jeans (here) Office – Nude Loafers (similar here)

This is one of my favourite simple and casual go-to looks. There’s something so elegant yet simplistic about a plain cream jumper, I recently bought this from the shop ‘& Other Stories’ and it literally goes with everything, which you will see in my following outfits! I love MOM jeans for when I don’t want to wear super skinny jeans but still want something just as comfortable and stylish, I love how they fit me and of course how cute do they look! I’ve also mentioned these loafers I purchased from the sale that was recently on in Office, which really are becoming an essential piece of footwear to me.

& Other Stories – White Jumper (similar linked above) ASOS –  OBI Tie Woven Peg Trousers (here) Office – Nude Loafers (similar linked above) Pavers – Brown Bag (currently not online, similar to the signature Mulberry bag)

This is still a casual look yet more casual-chic. I have been wanting these trousers for weeks but every time I looked on ASOS they were sold out within a minute of me adding it to my basket. I kept checking and checking and finally, my size was right there and I purchased them as soon as I could. I think they are such an elegant item of clothing, I like to steer away from the common pair of jeans from time to time and these add such a girly, classic feel to your look. I wanted to keep everything else minimalistic just to focus on the detail of the trousers by sticking to neutrals such as brown/white. The perfect pastels for spring-time!

Forever 21 – Polka Dot Playsuit (similar here) & Other Stories – White Jumper (links above) Zara -Blue Pointed Flats (similar here)

This is my favourite look by far, it screams vintage and yet has that classic parisian vibe. This is perfect for when the sun starts to bloom more! Don’t be afraid to go bare with your legs either, through confidence comes style. I bought this playsuit some years back from Forever 21 (linked a similar one) which is an extremely overlooked shop I must admit. I am always finding those back-of-your-wardrobe gems and this happened to be one of them. Polka dots are such a retro patterns and I love the back detail of this playsuit too, it even comes with pockets! I styled it with some navy blue pointed flats, which are from one of my favourite stores, Zara.

Warehouse – Creme Puff Sleeved Knit (here)  Pretty Little Thing – Suede Shorts (here) New Look – Black Heels (here)

This is the final look and is a Spring going out look. Again another item I’ve had my eye on for some time is this lovely puff sleeved jumper from Warehouse, it is such a thin material (as you can see from the accidental display of my bra). However, it looks beautiful on and this is what I like to call the Spring ‘going out when it’s still light outside’ look. Very elegant when paired with some shorts, I love a pink and brown combination so I thought these PLT Mocha Suede Shorts would make the perfect duo. They’ve even been reduced online so go grab yourself a pair, they are so so comfy I can’t even begin to tell you! For shoes I wanted to finish this off was a simple little black pair, these are a perfect example from New Look. I love shopping here for my heels, the price and quality is so up to scratch!

I do hope you liked seeing a quick insight into some of my Spring wardrobe. I super enjoyed doing a fashion post for a change, so I will certainly be making sure I intertwine this into my blog more. Just to let you guys know too, I’m going to do my best to try and blog at least twice a week now, in a bid to make sure I’m much more active on here than I am! Thanks for reading lovelies…
